A Journey with the LORD

What can I say about the LORD?

His ways are unknowable

His love will make you want to know Him more!

You can never escape when He chooses you to save

Though you wonā€™t understand His ways

Surrender anyway

Open up your heart

Thatā€™s a good place to start

For Him to enter in

And turn your losses into wins

First He will open your eyes to all of Satanā€™s lies

He will help you understand the secret to being wise

Found in His holy Word, not in universities or books

Youā€™ll find His wisdom if you know where to look

Things you thought you knew, youā€™ll begin to question

Like how you should live and how to enter heaven

Itā€™s not by good behavior or being a good person

Transformation is what must take place for your salvation to be certain

Itā€™s not how you think you are or even your church attendance

Rather your obedience, humility, and willingness to listen

He compels you to strive for the eternal reward

And youā€™ll only have a chance if you use your sword

The Word, The Way, The Truth, and The Life

Thatā€™s what youā€™ll need to escape a life of strife

So pick up your Word and pray every day

Because the enemy is always looking for saints he can slay

If you wonā€™t live your old life of sin he tries to find a way

To entangle you again or make you turn away

Donā€™t get it twisted, Jesus Christ gave us the keys to succeed

We donā€™t have to beg, cry or plead

His arms are open for whosoever will come

And His love envelopes and guides you safely to His kingdom

Unclean, bewildered, angry, and sad

These are old traits that all of us had

But we donā€™t have to live with these spirits anymore

His salvation, grace, and deliverance are for sure

So keep your head low and your prayers plentiful

Be slow to speak and quick to forgive

Open to love and grateful to live

Trials will come and tribulations too

Itā€™s how you trust GOD that will affect you

The Names Of God in The Old Testament

God as we know Him has always been and always will be. He has no beginning and no end. His wisdom is shown throughout the cosmos and our home, planet Earth.  When Moses was called by God to go deliver the children of Israel, he asked God who should He say sent him?  God replied, "I AM." He further explained that He was " I AM that I AM." Seems kind of weird for a name, right? After the Israelites were delivered, they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. During this time, I AM revealed who He was by what He did.  God revealed who He was by what He did.  If you feel lost, confused, or struggle with unbelief, please use this as a reference. Call on The Lord and watch Him show up. He knows your heart, so you don't have to be fancy with your words or know what to say - simply call out to I AM and watch Him become what you need! Keep pressing. Your labor is not in vain.

The Real Meaning of The Rainbow is in The Bible

After the monumental decision by the Supreme Court to allow same-sex couples to marry, I knew it was yet another inch closer to the days Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24, and His imminent return. Let me first say that this post will not attempt to sway you in your views about the Supreme Courts ruling. It would be a waste of time as those who belong to God know and understand the sanctity of marriage and how it originated already. I want to discuss the rainbow and its true meaning. The rainbow is one of those wonders that God created in the Earth that not only reminds us of Him, but also reminds Him of us. The true meaning of the rainbow comes from the Bible. Genesis 9:13 says: I set My bow [rainbow] in the cloud, and it shall be a token  or  sign of a covenant  or  solemn pledge between Me and the earth. (Amplified version)

10 Reasons You Should Praise GOD

It can be difficult to give The LORD praise when passing through difficult seasons. Trials and tribulations have a way of skewing how blessed we really are because it tends to cause us to focus on what is going wrong and how helpless we can feel at the time.  Whether going through an illness or watching someone you love endure hard times and seemingly impossible odds, we must find time to give our Heavenly Father praise because this is going to be key to our successful completion of the season.  It may not be easy to do this all the time, and our Father knows this. This is why it is called a sacrifice of praise in certain places in our Bibles. Can you imagine Abraham giving praise on his way to sacrificing his only son to Yahweh? Can you imagine Hannah going to offer praises and sacrifices each year as she traveled with her husband but had no children like her adversary Peninnah? Giving praise to the Lord cannot be contingent on circumstances or emotions, or we may never be ab...
