Prayer of Salvation

Receiving Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior simply means that you acknowledge His work on The Cross as not just a moment in history, but an act of redemption and salvation for you.

Jesus Christ died for the sins of all the world but does not force Himself on anyone.

While the world teaches us to believe in ourselves, or other fallible things of this world, The Bible instructs us in Romans 10:9-10:
...that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." (NKJV)
There will be a reckoning day; a day when time is stopped for all mankind and the God of all creation takes account of all the sin committed in the earth. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ will be saved from the punishment because His sacrifice of His life was and still is seen as the perfect propitiation for our sins.

We of ourselves could never live in a way that is pleasing to God. We cannot live a blameless life without the help of the Holy Spirit operating within us. That is why no one can boast of their salvation or attain it through good works. It is a gift from God for all who by faith believe in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-9 explains:
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (KJV)

Prayer of Salvation:
Father God,
I come to you as humble as I know how to receive your free gift of salvation through your Son Jesus Christ. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and wash me clean by faith. In my heart, I believe in the work of the Cross, and with my mouth I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Now, I trust you to lead me and my life closer to you in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
That's it. You have now joined a family of believers that also believe in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ!

What to do next?
  • Get a Bible - You will be able to download a free Bible to your mobile device simply by search "Bible" in the Android or Apple marketplaces. Personally, I use Youversion but anyone is perfectly fine. You can also get one sent to you from FreeBibles.net or visit here to find other organizations willing to send you a free Bible. Of course, you can always purchase one at almost any bookstore in your area.
    • Why do you need a Bible? Because accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the beginning of your experience and now you must learn about your faith and how you are to live your life. The Bible is usually known as the Basic Instruction Before Leave Earth. We must un-learn the ways of the world and apply God's way to our lives as true believers.
  • Join a Bible believing church - You will need help, instruction, encouragement and a community of other believers to help you on this journey as a Christian. Living in a world that does not teach or promote Christian values means you just need to find others who believe as you do. Pray to the Lord and ask Him to direct your steps to a place where you can be rooted and grow. It's that simple. He will hear and answer any prayer you send with faith and in the name of Jesus.
  • I have bad habits, I'm too dirty for church! - That is a lie of the enemy to keep you from growing in Christ. Jesus Christ has already paid the price for all of your sins and the Holy Spirit will help you get rid of anything that is offensive to God. You do not have to attempt to do this on your own. The Bible tells us to come as we are to God, not to get ourselves together then come to Him. Do not allow the condemnation of Satan keep you from moving forward.
    • Romans 8:1 says: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
  • Start praying to God and watch Him send you answers!
  • Read something in your Bible everyday - make time. Even if it is a Psalms or Proverbs, make an effort to clean out your old self by learning the ways of the Lord. The only way you have a chance to grow in Christ is through His Word. You cannot defeat your flesh, the devil, or temptation on your own. Study Gods Word and watch yourself grow a desire to learn more as you begin to see transformation in your life.
You have just been what the Bible calls "born-again." While you had a birthdate when you entered your family, you now have a birthdate for when you entered the family of God.

Always have faith and you will always see Gods handiwork in your life. There is nothing impossible with GOD!

I'm Back -- Let's Talk About Faith

It has been almost 3 months since my last update, and there is really no excuse.  I have so much to share with you from my studies in HIS Word and I will be more accountable for making sure I post regularly. Let's talk about Faith! Let's discuss Hebrews 11:1  "Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Very few people are not familiar with this scripture. But very few people realize the gravity of it either. Faith is compared to tangible things in both instances -- substance and evidence. These are both things that can be seen or touched. Furthermore, evidence points to proof of something.  How can you have faith, where does it come from, and why do you need it? How can you have faith? Everyone has a measure of faith, even unbelievers. We all know about oxygen that we inhale and carbon dioxide that we exhale. Failure to draw in oxygen will suffocate you and kill you. But can you see it? Where is it at? Can you touch it? No. Bu...

The Names Of God in The Old Testament

God as we know Him has always been and always will be. He has no beginning and no end. His wisdom is shown throughout the cosmos and our home, planet Earth.  When Moses was called by God to go deliver the children of Israel, he asked God who should He say sent him?  God replied, "I AM." He further explained that He was " I AM that I AM." Seems kind of weird for a name, right? After the Israelites were delivered, they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. During this time, I AM revealed who He was by what He did.  God revealed who He was by what He did.  If you feel lost, confused, or struggle with unbelief, please use this as a reference. Call on The Lord and watch Him show up. He knows your heart, so you don't have to be fancy with your words or know what to say - simply call out to I AM and watch Him become what you need! Keep pressing. Your labor is not in vain.

I want to write a little about our intentions / desires / and goals. Have you ever had a dream or desire that was so awesome, you just knew it came from the Lord? After all His Word does say that He would give His children the desires of their hearts. So why is it not happening? What are you doing wrong? What can you do to make it better? Matthew 6:33 says: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. The previous verse (Matthew 6:32) says that God already knows your needs before you ask Him. And the following verse says we are to take no thought about tomorrow, it has its own issues. Psalm 37:4 says: Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. So what do we know so far: God knows the desires of our hearts God knows our needs before we ask So what keeps us from attaining our desires or goals? Our focus, our hearts, our goals - for what purpose do they serve in the liv...
