I remember when I first prayed for God to grant me a desire to study His word, I was only interested in the New Testament. We are no longer under the law and why should I read about the law? Oh, how wrong I was, and in His mercy, I began to desire to read about the pre-Jesus era. There are many hidden treasures within the Old Testament and what I call "shortcuts and insights" into the ways and actions of God. If you are reading this and do not have a foundation of believing every word within the Word, what I will write will shock and possibly appall you. But don't fret because "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God!" The more you hear His words, faith will begin to take root. When this happens, WATCH OUT! Faith is what pleases God.. Genesis 1:1-3 gives us a picture of what the beginning was like. I really have no time for a blog but I feel compelled to share with the world the Grace, Mercy, and Love that God has to share with everyone who accepts Him and His son, Jesus Christ. This is not your typical Christian blog as I do not debate or argue the Bible (Romans 14:1). I also do not give my opinion, only His Word.
