Encourage Yourself in The Lord

Mindset is crucial at all times, but most especially during adversity. It is in these times that we are really able to see what is within us and what needs to be removed. While going through a particularly stressful season, I could feel the Holy Spirit within me reminding me of who HE was and who I am in HIM.  So, I began to write and encourage myself in the LORD, here's what it says: What can I say about the LORD? His ways are unknowable His love will make you want to know him more! You can never escape when He chooses you to save Though you won't understand His ways Surrender anyway Open up your heart That's a good place to start For Him to enter in  And turn your losses into wins First, He will open your eyes to all of Satan's lies He will help you understand the secret to be wise Found in His Holy Word & not in universities & books You'll find His wisdom, you just have to know where to look Things you thought you knew, you'll begin to question Like h...

25 Powerful Prayers to help us through this Pandemic

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 The Word of GOD says that the fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.  Fervent can be described as passionate or intense. These types of prayers mean a lot to the Lord. Remember, we are not righteous because of anything we have done or said.  We are only righteous because of the atoning power of the Blood Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  - James 5:16 KJV We do not have to look very far to be able to see the desperate times we are living in. We need not be afraid because Jesus Christ forewarned us of these times in the Gospels.  There has never been a better time to pray than N...

Jesus Christ Loves You and You Should Never Forget It!

Dear Beloved,  The first thing you need to remember is that you are greatly loved by The LORD.  If no one is on your side or can understand you, He certainly can.  Do not try to resolve any issue without praying and consulting with Him first. Seek Him daily so that you are victorious in even the unseen battles. Prayer and the Word is the key to this.  You know that you will face obstacles, unbelievers and haters, but you MUST NOT FOCUS ON THEM. Switch your focus to Your Life, Your Goals, and most importantly, Your Life.  The LORD planned everything before you were born and you can be sure that He has in no way been surprised by any battle or setback you’ve encountered.

The Powerful & Life-Changing Power of Your Pain

Pain is universal. It does not discriminate based on class, income, education, age, gender or race. Pain is a part of life -- an essential part of life. We can't avoid it. We actually need it. It is a signal, an indicator that something is wrong or something needs to be changed. Pain speaks a universal language that ALL can understand, and forces us to act. It is the same in our spiritual walk with Christ. Some have misunderstood their new life in Christ and believed they would escape pain or somehow just breeze through it.  Our new nature in Christ equips us to look at pain differently and use it differently than the world , however it does not make us immune to it.

Exodus and How God Delivers Us From Sin

I felt a strong urge to begin re-reading the Book of Exodus the past few days. It is always amazing how scriptures we read while studying the Bible can minister to us in different ways, no matter how many times we read them.  I have read Exodus before, but there are many things I noticed this time that I may not have paid much attention to before. Exodus is when God really makes Himself known to His people , instead of individual men as before.  He introduces Himself to the Israelites with signs, wonders, and precious promises. It is not a sugar-coated account either because you can see many sides of Jehovah in the book.  He is Jealous for His people.  He is vengeful towards their oppressors.  His anger is kindled more than once when they try Him and refuse to believe Him.  He shows His power to deliver, to heal, and to set free.  He also shows His power to kill, to chastise, and to keep His word about disobedience.

The Real Meaning of The Rainbow is in The Bible

After the monumental decision by the Supreme Court to allow same-sex couples to marry, I knew it was yet another inch closer to the days Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24, and His imminent return. Let me first say that this post will not attempt to sway you in your views about the Supreme Courts ruling. It would be a waste of time as those who belong to God know and understand the sanctity of marriage and how it originated already. I want to discuss the rainbow and its true meaning. The rainbow is one of those wonders that God created in the Earth that not only reminds us of Him, but also reminds Him of us. The true meaning of the rainbow comes from the Bible. Genesis 9:13 says: I set My bow [rainbow] in the cloud, and it shall be a token  or  sign of a covenant  or  solemn pledge between Me and the earth. (Amplified version)

What Do You See? The Lord has Given You the Promised Land, Do You Receive it?

When the children of Israel sent twelve spies to the Promised Land, there were 10 that came back with what the Bible calls "an evil report," while Joshua and Caleb reported that they were well able to conquer the land. It is intriguing that the twelve spies went to the same land, saw the same giants, and spent the same amount of time surveying the land, yet only two had a good report. Numbers 13:32-33 says: And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it,  is  a land that eat up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it  are  men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak,  which come  of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.   The Bible calls the report of the other ten spies evil because it was contrary to what God had already told them. ...
